Course description
The English Summer Programme is suitable for anyone wanting to improve their general English language and communication skills, especially speaking and listening. It is for people who would like to learn about British Culture and meet other students from around the world.
UCAE classes are student-centred and interactive. This means that you will have the chance to use your English skills every day, guided by your tutors to complete tasks with your classmates. The maximum class size is usually 18 students.
English Summer Programme course content
You will usually have 19 tutor-led study hours per week including:
- 12 hours of general English language skills
- 4 hours of British Culture and Communication classroom activities
- A 3-hour trip to a place of interest in Manchester, accompanied by your tutors.
You may also complete up to 5 hours of guided individual study each week.
